Blank Check (A BonBon)

What’s the value of a blank check?
That’s up to you. You fill in the amount. Large, small—the amount entered is in your hands alone. Just as how you spend the money. The amount is exactly as large as your vision or expectations.

What prevents you from making the amount absurdly large?

  • Doubt that you’ll get it—so why expect what you can’t have?
  • Assumption you’re not worth very much—it’s all you deserve
  • Reluctance to reach for a brass ring—especially after prior disappointments
  • Suspicion you’re being played for a sucker (where’s the catch?)
  • Certainty that it wouldn’t clear—that there’s nothing to draw upon
  • Distractions that focus your attention elsewhere

Your life is a blank check (not a bland check)
It’s drawn on the unlimited resources of the Bank of Infinite Possibilities. What you want from your life is yours for the taking, for the making. Don’t scrimp on being alive—reach out and grab it with both hands. Think vast. Operate expansively. Give generously.

Your value is greater than you know and expands even more when you find ways to fully share who you are. Enlarge your worth for yourself and everyone you encounter.
