When you care from the heart, that’s enough

This department is about what you have already
It’s easy to get so caught up with what we don’t have that we forget it. Imagine! A department created to remind that there’s much more available, already present for us, than we happen to notice—let alone appreciate.

• Gratitude or Greatitood
• Satisfaction
• Appreciation
• A sense of wonder
• A desire to share and care
• An awareness of progress—from what you had or did
• A pressing concern for someone else’s well being

Having “enough” isn’t about the stuff out there—but the stuff inside your heart. Want more? Then share yourself and your worldy goods. Share yourself— feelings and dreams. You’ll be larger for the experience. And having stretched, you can never return to the smaller size again. Though, why would you want to?

      It’s a sign of emotional maturity to place more value on what
      you already have (and who you are) than on what you want

So listen to your inner chatter. Hear what you’re saying “not enough” about. Is it really so important? Is it all about stuff or human feelings? Do you really want it, or do you just have an “itch”?

Move past that. There really is much more to life! Pause and look for a binkle. Look for an emotional connection with someone. Look for something to be grateful for. Those are the cures for “not enough”—rather than more of the same.
