Welcome to the Fun Tour (1)
Introducing Your Guide
Hi, there. Im Hale N. Hardy, your Tour Guide today. Ive been around here so
long, Im an institution in the institution (if you get my drift). Ill
be showing you the main layout around here at The Joyful Banker.
Feel free to wander offif
you want to. Its quite alright. Theres plenty
to catch your attention, thats for sure. Youll probably run into some
of the fine folks who
work around here. Theyll make sure you dont
get yourself lost.
This is Your Special Place
Everything weve done at Joyful Banker was created to please youto
delight and enliven your life. Cant say that about many placesfer sure!
But joy is our stock in trade. Were serious
about spreading it around. Thats about the only thing were serious
about, as youll see. Its exactly
what were here for. All the rest of what going on is just to make it work.
So look around and have some fun while youre here today. Then tell
your friends about all the fun stuff going on, ya-hear?
Joyful Banker turns banking on its head
Its a fool-service non-bank, unlike any other financial institution
there ever was. It doesnt accept deposits of your hard-earned money.
And it doesnt keep accountsfancy that. We invite you to take without
limits
even without giving up any personal information.
Except for the Storehouse,
this website doesnt relate to real money at all. Instead, what weve created is offered on the
Joy-filled Standardavailable to all comers for the taking and the sharing.
The Bankers reason for being is to spread joy and binklesso happy
energy stays on the front of the brain. This bank exists as a reminder that there are
many matters in life more valuable than moneyand more deserving of our notice
and time.
Money has its place. But its not 1st placeor even 2nd
People we care about (and who care
about us) are miles ahead. Pardon me for getting preachy, but were passionate
about caring around here. And its hard to turn it off. Come to think about
itwhy should I?
This Fun Tour consists of four pages linked togetherending back at Home. The
whole trip wont take too long, and I hope you find a chuckle or two as we
go along. Ill briefly introduce the most important stops. Then you can revisit
what takes your fancy in any order you like.
A word of explanation
Most of Joyful Banker is just for fun. But some pages
(like the Site Map) are serious. And other areas, like
policies exist in two flavorssilly and serious. We dont want to cause any
confusion. So serious pages have a blue background; the
rest (silly) are lilac. Lucky me, the Tour is on lilac.
